is your dog barking too much?

Barking means your dog is speaking to you but what is it saying? Barking can be used as an alarm or as a response to fear or stress. It is important to understand what causes extensive barking. How does your dog respond when you try to stop it from barking? Does it get more agitated? Does it stop barking and then starts again as soon as you turn away? What are the triggers? We recommend that you would take note of what causes your dog to start barking and then note down what happens when you try to communicate that it is inappropriate behaviour. How long does the barking go on for and what are the emotions that your dog portrays? Have a look at your dog’s tail, your dogs ears? Does it display fear or aggression or both?

Please note that we hope you can provide as much information as possible but we would also conduct assessment to check what would work for your dog.
